Description:
A reason to choose this exact build.
You do not need the highest-priced groupset to have a very fast gravel season. MOG Premium Force XPLR makes that argument beautifully. The ENVE chassis brings confidence to unpredictable terrain, while SRAM Force XPLR AXS offers wireless 1× shifting and a power-meter-equipped drivetrain aimed at real training and competition.
The premium ENVE carbon wheel choice matters because gravel wheels and tires shape steering, traction and how efficiently the bike holds speed on rough ground. Compared with Foundation Force, this version focuses the upgrade money there. Compared with Premium RED, it saves on drivetrain prestige without giving up the MOG's underlying geometry or tire capability.

02 / THE BIKE IN DETAIL
See the shape. Understand the intention.
The silhouette tells one story. The integration, finishing touches and frame details tell the rest. These are official ENVE product views, while the configuration and geometry below explain what you are actually selecting.
Manufacturer imagery may represent alternate finishes or display components. Color and build options selected at purchase determine the delivered configuration.
An equipment decision for people who ride
This is the build to scrutinize when you want a single competitive gravel bike, appreciate carbon wheels and would use saved funds for race travel, tires or a second wheel setup. A better setup for your surface may matter more than an extra step in groupset hierarchy.

BEHIND THE ENGINEERING
Room to choose your own kind of gravel.
ENVE specifies clearance for 700 × 50 mm tires, a T47 threaded bottom bracket, six frame sizes with size-specific fork rakes, integrated Cargo Bay storage and mounts for useful equipment. The recommended wheel diameter is 700c; 650b is not recommended by ENVE.
Designed around your kind of riding.
ENVE built the MOG as a real gravel platform rather than an endurance road frame with extra clearance. Its geometry is designed around 700c gravel tires, with ENVE specifying 40–44 mm as the optimal range and 50 mm as the listed maximum. The 0.6 L downtube Cargo Bay hides the flat kit, while mounts and a 27.2 mm seatpost interface leave space for longer or more technical rides.
The 950 g published weight is for a size-56 painted frame without hardware—not the weight of a complete bicycle. The T47 inboard bottom bracket, 700c-only design recommendation, and drivetrain routing guidance make the MOG particularly relevant to custom-build shoppers. It can be configured for fast hardpack racing or broader adventure; no single tire or wheel is universally ideal.

The surface question
Do you need true 45–50 mm capability?
02
The drivetrain question
Does 1× simplicity outweigh close 2× road gears?
03
The build question
Would a 27.2 mm dropper or Cargo Bay change your ride?
MOG vs. the other bikes you are considering
Every platform below has a legitimate reason to exist. Use this comparison to decide which design philosophy matches your real riding before comparing groupset prices.
| Bike platform | Primary character | Listed max tire | Distinctive approach | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ENVE MOG | Performance gravel / long-range versatility | 50 mm | Cargo Bay, T47, 27.2 mm dropper compatibility | A balanced pick when 50 mm capacity and versatile builds matter. |
| Cervélo Áspero-5 | Aerodynamic gravel racing | 45 mm | Race-focused aero frame with downtube storage | Consider it when aero gravel speed matters more than 50 mm clearance. |
| Pinarello Grevil F | Fast gravel racing and endurance | 50 mm | Italian racing identity, 2027 integrated storage | A direct rival for fast gravel with more emphasis on a Pinarello build. |
| Wilier Rave SLR ID2 | Gravel racing, wider-tire capability | Up to 2.1 in (~53 mm) | Aero gravel chassis; 1×-only drivetrain design | Choose it when wider MTB-style tires or Wilier race character decide. |
Comparison uses manufacturer-listed tire limits and editorial fit judgments, not independently measured speed results. Tire widths are nominal; actual mounted dimensions vary. Confirm the exact model year and build.

Full ENVE MOG geometry, every size.
MOG geometry is based on gravel use, not a road-race fit enlarged by tire clearance. At size 56 cm the published stack is 587 mm and reach 397 mm; its wheelbase and 420 mm chainstays are part of its handling equation. Compare bar reach, flare and tire height before deciding between adjacent sizes.
Gravel tires change actual rolling height and feel, so test the proposed 40–44 mm baseline against your course before maximizing clearance.
Geometry measurements below are supplied by ENVE. Millimeters unless otherwise noted. The entire manufacturer geometry chart is retained on every configuration, including fork rake and tire-dependent trail.
