Scope Artech 4 Carbon Wheelset / Engineering edition / WHEELSET

Exceptional by design.

The Artech 4 rethinks what an all-round carbon road wheel can be: 45 mm aerodynamic rims, a 1,120 g published wheelset weight and a construction led by 3D-printed Scalmalloy hubs and Carbonlite Aerospokes. Built for long climbs, hard accelerations and fast roads where weight and wind both matter.

01 / THE ARTECH PHILOSOPHY

One bike. A full season of racing.

A 45 mm wheel should not force you to choose between the mountains and a fast, exposed race. Artech 4 places advanced aerodynamics in a startlingly light system, pairing a 23 mm hooked tubeless-ready tire bed with a profile optimized around a 28 mm road tire. It is the flagship all-rounder for riders who want less compromise from one wheelset.

02 / PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Engineering for the intended ride.

Scope applies its Aeroscales surface structure, Carbonlite Aerospokes and topology-optimized 3D-printed hubs rather than relying on rim depth alone. The 23 mm hooked tire bed is developed around a 28 mm tire for a contemporary road-bike system. Those details distinguish Artech 4 from conventional deep-section carbon builds.

Choosing this model

Which Scope wheel belongs on your bike?

Choose Artech 4 when your road riding includes both significant climbing and sustained fast riding. Choose Artech 2 for the most weight-sensitive climbing objective, Artech 6 for a deeper aerodynamic commitment, or Artech 4.A when a wider 30 mm all-road tire is the central requirement.

Scope wheelset / Compatibility answers

Frequently asked questions about Scope Artech 4

What makes Artech 4 an all-round road wheel rather than a dedicated aero wheel?

Its 45 mm depth sits between Scope’s 22 mm Artech 2 and 65 mm Artech 6, while its 1,120 g published weight and hooked 23 mm internal tire bed serve mixed-profile road riding.

What is included in the Scope Artech 4 listing?

Complete front-and-rear wheelset. Tires, cassettes, rotors and accessories are included only if specifically listed in the Scope package details.

What does the Scope Artech 4 weigh?

Scope publishes 1,120 g as its wheel weight. It is not a shipping-package weight, and actual manufactured weights can vary.

Which tire should I use with the Scope Artech 4?

Scope identifies a 23 mm internal rim and 28 mm optimum tire width. The tire manufacturer must approve the tire on this particular rim width and bead system, and the frame must provide adequate clearance.

Will it fit my bike?

Check the axle standard, brake interface, tire clearance, and any rear cassette/freehub compatibility. A wheel-model name is not enough to establish drivetrain compatibility.

Can Brimstone help confirm compatibility?

Yes. Brimstone Bicycles can help you check rim/tire approval, axle type and—when applicable—the correct freehub body before you order.

What is the CeramicSpeed upgrade?

The manufacturer offers a CeramicSpeed bearing configuration on eligible Artech variants. It is a bearing option, not a published 80 g weight reduction; compare the selected manufacturer SKUs.

What’s supplied / Warranty guidance

The wheel and the support behind it.

Scope lists a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on Artech wheels purchased from Scope or an official Scope dealer. It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions. Crash replacement is a separate manufacturer program; promotional trial and free-shipping terms are not promised by Brimstone.

Use the Scope warranty information and Scope crash replacement information for current terms.
