A road race can demand everything in one afternoon: repeated accelerations, technical turns, fast open roads and a climb with no place to hide. The R4 is built for that broad racing brief. Its 45 mm AEA-developed profile and 23 mm hooked inner rim target modern 28 mm road tires, while the mechanical labyrinth system is designed to protect the hubs through repeated use.

The Race approach combines AEA-optimized carbon rims, Sapim CX-Ray spokes and a 36T Diamond Ratchet SL engagement system in a wheelset built for competition and training.
RACE RIM AERODYNAMICS
Scope uses aerodynamic profiles derived from Artech development but without the Artech Aeroscales outer surface.
SAPIM CX-RAY SPOKES
The Race system uses conventional steel aero spokes rather than the flagship Artech carbon spokes.
HUB LABYRINTH
Mechanical labyrinth sealing is designed to help shield the hub against dirt and improve long-term durability.
