More than a rim profile
The Race family is a high-performance alternative to the flagship Artech platform. It retains Scope’s aerodynamic development direction while using Sapim steel aero spokes, R-Series hubs and conventional smooth carbon rims. That makes the service and performance story different—not simply a cheaper copy of Artech.
Local Reinforcement carbon
Material is added selectively around spoke-load areas, balancing structural strength and rim weight.
Sapim CX-Ray aero steel spokes
Bladed spokes combine a familiar service platform with aerodynamic detailing for road and gravel racing.
Scope Race-series hub and ratchet
Scope specifies a Diamond Ratchet engagement system for these configurations and uses mechanical labyrinth sealing on R-series wheelset hubs.

Scope lists a 23 mm internal rim channel and 28 mm optimum tire width for this model. The rim interface is described as Hooked; any approved tire must also fit your specific frame or fork. Never exceed the lowest applicable tire or rim pressure rating.

Select the White or Black Scope decal finish. Both configurations are the same front-only R8.T wheel: there is no cassette or freehub body on a front wheel. Before ordering, confirm 12 x 100 mm thru-axle fit, a Centerlock disc-brake mount, and adequate fork and tire clearance.

It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions. Crash replacement is a separate manufacturer program; promotional trial and free-shipping terms are not promised by Brimstone.
