Description:
SCOPE / ARTECH / THE FLAGSHIP PLATFORM / ALL-ROAD

Scope Artech 4.A Carbon Wheelset / Engineering edition / WHEELSET

The fast road ends. The ambition does not.

Artech 4.A combines a 45 mm aero-oriented profile with a 25 mm internal hooked tire bed for Scope’s 30 mm optimum tire width. Its 1,200 g published weight makes it a compelling high-performance option for modern endurance and fast all-road bicycles.

01 / ALL-ROAD INTENT

A performance wheel for the mixed-surface calendar

Artech 4.A is aimed at the rider who wants race-bike responsiveness on pavement but does not want the wheel to dictate where the road ends. The wider 33.7 mm external rim profile and 25 mm inner channel are developed around a larger tire than Scope’s road-specific Artech 4. The result is a different tire-and-rim system, not simply the same road wheel with a gravel label.

02 / PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Engineering for the intended ride.

Artech’s signature combination of Aeroscales shaping, Carbonlite Aerospokes and Scalmalloy printed hub structures remains part of the proposition. Scope retains a hooked bead on this All-Road wheel, an important distinction from the 4.G gravel model. Tire manufacturer approval and actual frame clearance still determine the usable tire choice.

Choosing this model

Which Scope wheel belongs on your bike?

Choose 4.A when tarmac speed is central but routes can include compact gravel or rougher secondary roads. Choose Artech 4 for a road-first 28 mm system or Artech 4.G for genuine gravel-race priorities and a wider hookless tubeless interface.

Scope wheelset / Compatibility answers

Frequently asked questions about Scope Artech 4.A

Is the Artech 4.A the same as Artech 4 with wider tires?

No. The 4.A uses a distinct wider 25 mm internal hooked rim and 30 mm optimum tire target, whereas Artech 4 uses a 23 mm internal rim optimized for 28 mm tires.

What is included in the Scope Artech 4.A listing?

Complete front-and-rear wheelset. Tires, cassettes, rotors and accessories are included only if specifically listed in the Scope package details.

What does the Scope Artech 4.A weigh?

Scope publishes 1,200 g as its wheel weight. It is not a shipping-package weight, and actual manufactured weights can vary.

Which tire should I use with the Scope Artech 4.A?

Scope identifies a 25 mm internal rim and 30 mm optimum tire width. The tire manufacturer must approve the tire on this particular rim width and bead system, and the frame must provide adequate clearance.

Will it fit my bike?

Check the axle standard, brake interface, tire clearance, and any rear cassette/freehub compatibility. A wheel-model name is not enough to establish drivetrain compatibility.

Can Brimstone help confirm compatibility?

Yes. Brimstone Bicycles can help you check rim/tire approval, axle type and—when applicable—the correct freehub body before you order.

What is the CeramicSpeed upgrade?

The manufacturer offers a CeramicSpeed bearing configuration on eligible Artech variants. It is a bearing option, not a published 80 g weight reduction; compare the selected manufacturer SKUs.

What’s supplied / Warranty guidance

The wheel and the support behind it.

Scope lists a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on Artech wheels purchased from Scope or an official Scope dealer. It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions.
