Bianchi Specialissima / The new generation

For the climbs.
And everything after.

The Specialissima made its name in the mountains. For the new generation, Bianchi has refined the aerodynamics and its Countervail vibration-damping technology. Every build retains a purposeful race feel, from the accessible 105 Di2 to the flagship RC.

The technology beneath the paint

Less road vibration.
More room to focus.

Countervail is Bianchi's integrated vibration-damping technology. It is engineered to filter the harsh, high-frequency buzz that comes through the bike on rough pavement, while maintaining the firm, precise response riders want from a race frame.

On long days, broken roads and quick descents, that translates into a more composed feel. It's a meaningful part of the Specialissima story—not an afterthought hidden in the spec sheet.

Bianchi states that all new Specialissima models integrate Countervail. In the RC's detailed specifications, Countervail is explicitly identified in the fork; the RC carbon frame entry does not specify whether it is present in the frame layup. The standard and Pro builds share PRO carbon frame construction.

Bianchi specifies Countervail for the new range. The meaningful differences are frame construction, gearing, wheels and power measurement. On the RC, Countervail is explicitly specified in the fork.

There's a reason this one stands out on steep climbs.

Pair the 36-tooth largest sprocket with the 34-tooth inner chainring and you get a lower-than-1:1 climbing gear. It gives you an easier gear for long ascents and tired legs—without giving up the sharp feel of a proper race bike. The Ultegra and Pro models use different, closer-ratio gearing.
