Scope R6.A Carbon Wheelset / Race development / WHEELSET

A deep wheel for the wider-road era.

R6.A pairs Scope’s 65 mm deep Race profile with a 25 mm hooked internal rim and 30 mm optimum tire width. The manufacturer lists a 1,579 g wheelset weight for its deep-section all-road offering.

01 / ALL-ROAD INTENT

Fast pavement, fewer boundaries

R6.A suits the fast all-road rider who wants the stance of a deeper carbon wheel without committing to a narrow road tire platform. The 33.7 mm external profile and the internal 25 mm bed are developed around a larger tire than the R6 Road model. For the right bike and course, that makes the wheel a more appropriate answer than simply installing a wider tire on a narrow rim.

02 / PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Engineering for the intended ride.

Scope combines a hooked bead with its Race-series hubs, Sapim CX-Ray spokes and mechanical labyrinth hub protection. As with any deep all-road system, front-end clearance, tire approval and crosswind preferences deserve attention before a purchase decision.

Choosing this model

Which Scope wheel belongs on your bike?

Choose R6.A for fast rolling mixed-surface routes and a 30 mm tire target. Compare R4.A when you want less rim depth, and road R6 if your bike is optimized around 28 mm tires.

Scope wheelset / Compatibility answers

Frequently asked questions about Scope R6.A

How is R6.A different from R6?

R6.A uses a 25 mm hooked internal rim and is optimized for 30 mm tires. R6 uses a 23 mm hooked internal rim and is optimized for 28 mm road tires.

What is included in the Scope R6.A listing?

Complete front-and-rear wheelset. Tires, cassettes, rotors and accessories are included only if specifically listed in the Scope package details.

What does the Scope R6.A weigh?

Scope publishes 1,579 g as its wheel weight. It is not a shipping-package weight, and actual manufactured weights can vary.

Which tire should I use with the Scope R6.A?

Scope identifies a 25 mm internal rim and 30 mm optimum tire width. The tire manufacturer must approve the tire on this particular rim width and bead system, and the frame must provide adequate clearance.

Will it fit my bike?

Check the axle standard, brake interface, tire clearance, and any rear cassette/freehub compatibility. A wheel-model name is not enough to establish drivetrain compatibility.

Can Brimstone help confirm compatibility?

Yes. Brimstone Bicycles can help you check rim/tire approval, axle type and—when applicable—the correct freehub body before you order.

What’s supplied / Warranty guidance

The wheel and the support behind it.

Tubeless valve(s) and tubeless tape (pre-installed), per Scope product page.

Scope lists a limited three-year manufacturer warranty on Race and Sport wheels purchased from Scope or an official Scope dealer. It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions. Crash replacement is a separate manufacturer program; promotional trial and free-shipping terms are not promised by Brimstone.

Use the Scope warranty information and Scope crash replacement information for current terms.
