SCOPE / ARTECH / THE FLAGSHIP PLATFORM / GRAVEL

Scope Artech 4.G Carbon Wheelset / Engineering edition / WHEELSET

Carbon engineering meets the gravel start line.

Artech 4.G brings Scope’s premier construction to fast gravel racing: a 45 mm carbon rim, 28 mm internal hookless tire bed, 40 mm optimum tire width and published 1,150 g wheelset weight.

01 / GRAVEL INTENT

A wheel built for the speed of gravel

Fast gravel racing asks for aerodynamic attention, tire support and low mass together. The Artech 4.G is deliberately different from Scope’s All-Road 4.A. Its 28 mm internal width is developed around a much larger tire, and its hookless design requires compatible tubeless tires. That matters more to purchase suitability than the shared 45 mm nominal rim depth.

02 / PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Engineering for the intended ride.

Aeroscales, Carbonlite Aerospokes and Artech’s 3D-printed hubs help create a light, highly specialized gravel system. Scope publishes a maximum pressure of 4.0 bar / 58 psi for this rim; it is a safety ceiling, not a pressure recommendation. The selected tire must specifically be approved for hookless use at this rim width.

THE SCOPE RANGE / THREE DISTINCT APPROACHES

Find your place in the Scope family.

Sport, Race and Artech share Scope's focus on carbon wheel performance. The difference is in the construction, technology and application; always compare the exact models and compatibility before choosing.

SPORT

Proven carbon performance

Straightforward upgrade choice, Sport-series hubs and accessible ride-specific technology.

RACE

Race-built speed

Artech-derived rim profiles and race-oriented hub and spoke systems; details vary by model.

Choosing this model

Which Scope wheel belongs on your bike?

Choose 4.G if your priority is gravel-race speed on appropriate 35–65 mm hookless-approved tubeless tires. If your primary use is paved roads plus occasional smooth gravel and a 30 mm tire, Artech 4.A is the more relevant comparison.

Scope wheelset / Compatibility answers

Frequently asked questions about Scope Artech 4.G

Can I use any tubeless gravel tire on Artech 4.G?

No. Its 28 mm internal rim is hookless. Use a tire specifically approved for hookless rims at this width and stay below the lower tire-or-rim pressure limit; Scope publishes 4.0 bar / 58 psi as the rim ceiling.

What is included in the Scope Artech 4.G listing?

Complete front-and-rear wheelset. Tires, cassettes, rotors and accessories are included only if specifically listed in the Scope package details.

What does the Scope Artech 4.G weigh?

Scope publishes 1,150 g as its wheel weight. It is not a shipping-package weight, and actual manufactured weights can vary.

Which tire should I use with the Scope Artech 4.G?

Scope identifies a 28 mm internal rim and 40 mm optimum tire width. The tire manufacturer must approve the tire on this particular rim width and bead system, and the frame must provide adequate clearance.

Will it fit my bike?

Check the axle standard, brake interface, tire clearance, and any rear cassette/freehub compatibility. A wheel-model name is not enough to establish drivetrain compatibility.

Can Brimstone help confirm compatibility?

Yes. Brimstone Bicycles can help you check rim/tire approval, axle type and—when applicable—the correct freehub body before you order.

Can I exceed 58 psi if the tire says it is safe?

No. Scope publishes a 4.0 bar / 58 psi rim maximum for this hookless model. Follow the lower limit of the wheel and tire and do not assume the maximum is a recommended riding pressure.

What is the CeramicSpeed upgrade?

The manufacturer offers a CeramicSpeed bearing configuration on eligible Artech variants. It is a bearing option, not a published 80 g weight reduction; compare the selected manufacturer SKUs.

What’s supplied / Warranty guidance

The wheel and the support behind it.

Tubeless valve(s) and tape (pre-installed); Aerospoke service key; Artech accessory kit and padded wheel bag(s), as specified for this model by Scope.

Scope lists a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on Artech wheels purchased from Scope or an official Scope dealer. It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions. Crash replacement is a separate manufacturer program; promotional trial and free-shipping terms are not promised by Brimstone.

Use the Scope warranty information and Scope crash replacement information for current terms.
