Description:
SCOPE / ARTECH / THE FLAGSHIP PLATFORM / ALL-ROAD

Scope Artech 2.A Carbon Wheelset / Engineering edition / WHEELSET

A climbing wheel for roads that refuse labels.

Artech 2.A translates Scope’s ultralight shallow-rim philosophy to All-Road riding: a 22 mm carbon profile, 25 mm hooked internal width, 30 mm optimum tire and a manufacturer-listed 990 g complete-wheelset weight.

01 / ALL-ROAD INTENT

The climb is paved. The descent may not be.

Fast all-road riding is rarely limited to one surface. A route might begin as a smooth tarmac ascent, cut across compact gravel and return on broken backroads. Artech 2.A is designed for that pattern: wider tire support without losing the agility of a shallow wheelset. It is a race-oriented option, not a heavy-duty mountain wheel or a substitute for a mountain-bike rim.

02 / PERFORMANCE ARCHITECTURE

Engineering for the intended ride.

The 25 mm hooked tire bed gives the intended 30 mm tire a different supporting platform from the 23 mm road Artech 2. Together with the Artech carbon spokes, 3D-printed hubs and aerodynamic rim shaping, it creates a notably light setup for endurance road bikes and fast mixed-surface builds.

Choosing this model

Which Scope wheel belongs on your bike?

Choose 2.A for climbing-focused all-road routes and a 30 mm tire preference. Move to 4.A if you want a deeper aerodynamic profile for rolling terrain, or to 4.G if your principal use is gravel racing on wider, hookless-approved tubeless tires.

Frequently asked questions about Scope Artech 2.A

How does the Artech 2.A differ from Artech 2?

Both use 22 mm rims, but the 2.A uses a 25 mm internal hooked bed targeting 30 mm tires; the road Artech 2 has a 23 mm bed optimized for 28 mm tires.

What is included in the Scope Artech 2.A listing?

Complete front-and-rear wheelset. Tires, cassettes, rotors and accessories are included only if specifically listed in the Scope package details.

What does the Scope Artech 2.A weigh?

Scope publishes 990 g as its wheel weight. It is not a shipping-package weight, and actual manufactured weights can vary.

Which tire should I use with the Scope Artech 2.A?

Scope identifies a 25 mm internal rim and 30 mm optimum tire width. The tire manufacturer must approve the tire on this particular rim width and bead system, and the frame must provide adequate clearance.

Will it fit my bike?

Check the axle standard, brake interface, tire clearance, and any rear cassette/freehub compatibility. A wheel-model name is not enough to establish drivetrain compatibility.

Can Brimstone help confirm compatibility?

Yes. Brimstone Bicycles can help you check rim/tire approval, axle type and—when applicable—the correct freehub body before you order.

What is the CeramicSpeed upgrade?

The manufacturer offers a CeramicSpeed bearing configuration on eligible Artech variants. It is a bearing option, not a published 80 g weight reduction; compare the selected manufacturer SKUs.

What’s supplied / Warranty guidance

The wheel and the support behind it.

Tubeless valve(s) and tape (pre-installed); Aerospoke service key; Artech accessory kit and padded wheel bag(s), as specified for this model by Scope.

Scope lists a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty on Artech wheels purchased from Scope or an official Scope dealer. It applies to the original purchaser, subject to product registration within 30 working days and Scope’s published coverage and exclusions. Crash replacement is a separate manufacturer program; promotional trial and free-shipping terms are not promised by Brimstone.

Use the Scope warranty information and Scope crash replacement information for current terms.
