Questions riders ask
Magnum Peak 2.0 FAQ
Is the Peak 2.0 a true mountain bike?
It is a capable electric hardtail intended for trails, gravel and mixed-surface riding. The 140mm fork, wide knobby tires, hydraulic brakes and clutched drivetrain are trail-focused, though riders tackling aggressive technical terrain may prefer a purpose-built mid-drive e-MTB.
Can I switch between torque and cadence sensing?
Yes. Torque mode responds to pedal pressure for a natural feel, while cadence mode supplies steady support whenever the cranks are turning.
What e-bike class is it?
It ships as Class 2 and can be configured as Class 1, Class 2 or Class 3, plus a European mode, through the display. Local regulations determine where each setting may be used.
Is the 720Wh battery removable?
Yes. It is integrated into the downtube for a clean appearance but can be removed for indoor charging or storage.
Will it always achieve 50 miles?
No. Range varies with assist mode, throttle use, speed, terrain, rider and cargo weight, tire pressure, temperature and wind.
Are racks and lights included?
A 100-lumen front light and lightweight fenders are included. The rear rack and rack-mounted rear brake light are optional accessories.
