DOGMA-level speed, precision and integration—engineered for the fastest gravel racing.
The 2027 Pinarello DOGMA GR SRAM RED XPLR AXS takes the carbon technology, aerodynamic thinking and exacting fit philosophy associated with DOGMA and applies it to high-speed gravel competition. The MY27 build combines TorayCa M40X, a power-meter-equipped SRAM RED XPLR AXS 1×13 drivetrain, Princeton GRIT 4540 DB XDR wheels and the gravel-specific Talon Ultra Fast GR cockpit.
Built for Gravel FAST.
DOGMA GR is not an adventure bike with race components added to it. Its frame proportions, aerodynamic surfaces and integrated front end were developed around high-output gravel racing—the kind of riding where sustained speed, positioning and confidence on loose surfaces matter as much as outright stiffness.
Pinarello blends road-race aero knowledge with lessons from its off-road platforms to create a bike that feels deliberate at speed: low and efficient through the wind, stable when traction becomes uncertain, and responsive when the race breaks apart.

Carbon worthy of the DOGMA name.
The DOGMA GR frame uses TorayCa M40X, the advanced carbon technology Pinarello deploys at the top of its performance range. The objective is not simply a lighter gravel frame. M40X allows Pinarello to tune the structure for the rapid power transfer, steering precision and durability demanded by racing while preserving the controlled response needed when the surface stops behaving like pavement.
The frameset pairs M40X construction with eTiCR internal routing, an Italian bottom bracket and UCI-approved architecture, creating a gravel platform that belongs unmistakably inside the DOGMA family.
Every surface is treated as performance.
Aerodynamics, rider position, vibration control, integration and tire volume are developed as one system rather than isolated features.
Aero position. Gravel confidence.
DOGMA GR is shaped around the rider position required to race fast—not simply to ride far.
Seat- and head-tube angles encourage an efficient aerodynamic posture while the front-center, fork geometry and chassis proportions maintain the secure steering feel needed on hardpack, fine loose gravel and mixed race surfaces. The result is a bike that rewards aggressive positioning without making high-speed handling nervous.
A DOGMA aero signature, reduced to its essence.
The leading edge of the frame is deliberately narrow, smooth and sculpted for lower frontal drag.
Pinarello has continued to evolve the headtube “nose” concept first seen on its aero road platforms. On DOGMA GR, the latest form reduces the volume and width of the leading edge to help airflow remain cleaner around the front of the bike—exactly where aerodynamic gains become increasingly valuable during long solo efforts.
Compliance with a purpose: consistent power.
Comfort on DOGMA GR is engineered to keep the rider stable enough to keep producing power.
The dedicated aero seatpost balances stiffness, aerodynamic shape and vibration absorption. By reducing disruptive movement over uneven surfaces, the design helps the rider remain settled in the saddle and maintain a more consistent pedaling rhythm through rough race sectors.
The front end is part of the frameset.
Integrated, aerodynamic and specifically adapted for control on gravel.
The MOST Talon Ultra Fast GR uses a 7° flare and 7° inward bend to support an efficient, secure hand position at race speed. Two center mounting points are integrated into the cockpit for Pinarello's optional Gravel TT extensions, allowing the aero system to expand without compromising the clean front-end architecture.
Built for the breakaway that lasts for hours.
An optional aero extension system designed around DOGMA GR rather than adapted after the fact.
Pinarello's compatible Gravel TT Bars attach through the Talon Ultra Fast GR's dedicated center mounts. Reach and stack can be adjusted at the extensions and pads, a computer mount is integrated into the extension, and the system uses a fixed +10° tilt. Gravel TT extensions are optional equipment unless specifically included.
Narrower where the wind sees it.
Full integration required Pinarello to redesign the steering structure—not merely hide the cables.
An elliptical steering tube allows the headtube to remain narrow while routing the front-end systems internally. Differentiated headset bearings—larger below and narrower above—help preserve the stiffness and steering precision expected from a DOGMA while reducing the frontal profile.
Even the axle is an aerodynamic decision.
The front axle thread disappears inside the fork for a cleaner, lower-disturbance profile.
The hidden-thread design removes unnecessary external hardware from the fork surface, contributing to the visual cleanliness of the Onda fork while supporting Pinarello's broader effort to reduce aerodynamic disruption across the front of the bike.
45 mm front. 42 mm rear. Deliberately.
DOGMA GR prioritizes the tire volumes used for fast racing rather than chasing maximum adventure-bike clearance.
Measured maximum clearance is 45 mm at the front and 42 mm at the rear. That gives racers meaningful freedom to tune casing, tread and volume to course conditions while retaining the aerodynamic and structural proportions that define DOGMA GR.

2027 Pinarello DOGMA GR questions.
What kind of gravel bike is the Pinarello DOGMA GR?
DOGMA GR is Pinarello's flagship high-speed gravel race platform. It is optimized around competitive gravel riding where aerodynamics, rider position, low mass, steering precision and efficient power transfer are priorities.
What is different between DOGMA GR and Grevil F9?
DOGMA GR uses TorayCa M40X carbon, a DOGMA-specific aerodynamic chassis, the Talon Ultra Fast GR integrated cockpit and nine frame sizes. The MY27 Grevil F9 uses T900 UD carbon and a six-size Grevil F platform. Both can be equipped with SRAM RED XPLR AXS, but they are distinct frame platforms.
Does the 2027 DOGMA GR include a power meter?
Yes. This MY27 SRAM RED XPLR AXS build is specified with a power-meter-equipped RED XPLR crankset.
What gearing does the SRAM RED XPLR DOGMA GR use?
The MY27 build uses a 42T front chainring with a 10–46T 13-speed cassette, giving a wide gravel racing range without a front derailleur.
What wheels are on the MY27 DOGMA GR?
This Brimstone Bicycles MY27 specification uses Princeton GRIT 4540 DB wheels with an XDR freehub.
What is the maximum tire clearance?
Pinarello specifies measured maximum clearance of 45 mm at the front and 42 mm at the rear. Actual usable tire size can vary with rim width, tire casing and measured tire dimensions.
Are the Gravel TT Bars included?
No unless specifically stated in the product configuration. The Talon Ultra Fast GR provides the dedicated mounting points for Pinarello's compatible Gravel TT extensions.
What colors are available for MY27?
The MY27 SRAM RED XPLR AXS build is offered here in Lavanda Drift and Jade Vortex.
What sizes are available?
43, 46.5, 50, 51.5, 53, 54.5, 56, 57.5 and 59. Cockpit dimensions and crank length vary by size.
Is DOGMA GR intended for bikepacking or adventure gravel?
Its primary purpose is fast gravel racing. Riders can certainly use it beyond competition, but its geometry, aerodynamics and tire-clearance targets are driven by speed rather than maximum cargo capacity or maximum-volume adventure tires.
A flagship bike deserves a flagship setup.
DOGMA GR is a highly size-dependent race bike, from its nine-frame geometry range to its integrated Talon cockpit and crank-length progression. Brimstone Bicycles can help confirm sizing, fit considerations and final build details before purchase so the bike arrives configured around the rider—not simply the frame size.
Component specifications can change without notice due to manufacturer updates or availability. Product images may show alternate component configurations; refer to the listed MY27 specification for the build sold by Brimstone Bicycles.
